The police are supposed to protect citizens. OPD doesn't seem to grasp this idea.
The five punks from LA and Oakland that tried to murder me the night of August 6th 2008, dropped a flyer of their website, so I was able to ID my attackers.
Plus there was a video on their site, taken seven days after their attack on me, it shows them harrassing another white male homeless man that looks generally like me, it was taken a few blocks from where they attacked me on the museum grounds. OPD. Sgt. Flynn (a black officer) said he couldn't "sell it" to the DA. So it wasn't prosecuted.
Five black males tried to murder a white homeless veteran and neither the FBI, nor the Oakland Police Department sees this as a hate crime, or a racial assault.
But if five whites attacked a black man in Oakland, it would be seen as both a racial attack and a hate crime; and if OPD didn't "sell it" to the DA, there'd be riots in the streets.
At the time of this attack, I'd been rebuilding my life, starting a handmade greeting card business; and finally starting to heal from being sexually assaulted, and working toward getting off the street after three years of hell. This attack shattered everything, and put me through a darker more violent hell than before.
I started having violent flashbacks to being sexually assaulted, I was suffering violent fits of anger, there were days it took all of my energy to prevent myself from walking into his store and beating him to death. I was hating all Mexicans and all Blacks. I'm not a hateful person, this was tearing me apart.

The non-citizen landlord that sexually assualted me, his

Black OPD officers are racist.
I've titled this post as black OPD officers are racist, because they are.
They will not prosecute Hispanics or Blacks that attack white people.
Point 1.
I've tried several time sto get the OPD sexual assault division to take my report about my landlord Gustavo. D. Loza, the owner of The Shoe Spot in Oakland, California sexually assaulting me.
OPD won't listen, I've had them tell me that it wasn't assault because there was no physical contact, but there doesn't have to be for it to be an assault, which is inchoate to battery.
I even had another OPD sexual assault officer tell me that OPD wasn't concerned with what happened between consenting adults.
I want to make this perfectly clear. I am straight. my landlord Gustavo. D. Loza, the owner of The Shoe Spot in Oakland, California. is apperently gay,* he stripped off his clothes, held his butt open with both hands, and came at me backwards yelling, "Do you want to fuck me in the ass?" Mr. Loza did this as part of an unlawful self-help eviction.
This was not an act of mutual consent. My landlord sexually assaulted me and the Oakland Police Department will not do anything about it. In fact when I ran for the cops that night, three OPD officers even helped him to illegally evict me. One of them Officer- now sargeant- J. England, even went so far as to tell me that he thought Mr. Loza was "a great guy"

Regarding my nearly being murdered by five black boys on the night of August 6th 2008
OPD assault Department investigating Sgt. Flynn told me that he couldn't "sell" it to the D.A.
*I'm sure of this because I don't know of any straight guy that'd do what Loza did, he was only wearing sandles, jeans, a t-shirt and a black leather vest. Loza stripped off in no time flat, I think he's done this before; it sure didn't seem like he had to think about it, and he sure as hell wasn't embarrassed to be doing it. So yeah, I think Loza takes it in the butt on a regular basis.
